Harry Taub, MD, LPCc

Harry Taub is a mental health counselor and Gestalt therapist with a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Colorado and advanced training from the Gestalt Institute of the Rockies, where he also serves as consulting faculty.
He completed his M.D. at Dartmouth Medical School in 2001 and specialist training in Adult, Child, and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill.

Harry no longer prescribes or practices medicine, choosing to focus exclusively on psychotherapy.

Harry works with adults, adolescents, and children navigating personal and professional upheaval, disconnection and emotional overwhelm.

Many of his clients face substance use, anxiety, depression, trauma, relational strain, or major life transitions.
He also has experience supporting individuals with bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, developmental delays, and co-occurring substance use disorders.

No matter the circumstance, Harry meets each person with steadiness, warmth, and genuine respect.

He combines expertise with a style that is gentle, collaborative, and grounded.
Harry helps clients slow down, listen to their emotional world, and understand the patterns that have shaped their lives.

Working together, clients reconnect with a more grounded, compassionate, and authentic version of themselves.

Outside the therapy room, Harry is a devoted husband, father, and dog lover, and his family remains one of his greatest teachers
